The studio for architecture and interior design on the enchanting island of Ibiza bears the name Studio Go. Here, understated elegance is created for everyone's Mediterranean projects. The team is all about the small details that make a big difference. Every project, regardless of scale, is designed with care and dedication, as they believe in the power of personal attention.
The design firm specialises in residences and serving a diverse clientele ranging from private owners to property developers, hospitality operators and business professionals. Their approach is big on professionalism but retains the intimate feel of a boutique studio. Big enough to handle, small enough to give. Their relatively small team guarantees the highest possible personal service. Sam De Ridder, the visionary founder of Studio Go Ibiza, is a Belgian architect with a passion for Ibiza and a rich professional background. With a master's degree in architecture and civil engineering from Ghent University and more than 20 years of experience, he leads the creative design process from concept to completion. Previously working as technical director at a renowned architectural firm in Antwerp, Sam chose to set up his own design studio to follow his true passion: designing whitewashed villas and embracing the Mediterranean lifestyle. We'd like to take you inside a recent, modest gem, the smallest in size their creative hands have ever touched. But make no mistake, its magic is enormous. It was like love at first sight when the team joined forces with Jef Muylaert, a Belgian developer on the enchanting island of Ibiza. Their frequencies immediately resonated, and without hesitation they plunged into this adventure. At the heart of their mission? To transform an outdated, poorly laid-out 1970s studio interior into a miniature loft, bathed in the soft light of Santa Eularia, Ibiza, with the ocean as a backdrop. This project carries the DNA of Studio Go's design style. A modern, bright perspective infused with the warmth of classic materials. It is a harmonious balance between timeless and contemporary, between bohemian charm and refined simplicity, and between Mediterranean sunshine and Scandinavian elegance. What sets this apart from its predecessors? The absence of enclosed spaces, every square metre double or triple utilised. An optical illusion that makes the space seem larger than it is, a true piece of art on limited ground. An enormous challenge. Every centimetre counted, and refinement in such a small area required intensive attention. But the sea view acted as a softness to the intensity of the process.

Their goal was an understated, subtle design that resonates with a sophisticated audience that loves a minimalist and refined interpretation of modern Mediterranean living. The project called Mare N is best described as a seaside pied-à-terre with subtle loft aspirations. By using an open floor plan, they have created a seamless, fluid space where everything is intertwined and vistas at every corner invite discovery. The result is an ode to maximising limited spaces, refined and worked to perfection. Photography by Ariadna Puigdomenech
