Born and raised in France, Tristan Montabord-Marc’s journey into design began at a young age. His early sensitivity to the details of his surroundings — the unique properties of light on surfaces, the richness of volumes, and the interplay of materials — shaped his intuitive and perceptive approach to design. Over the years, these observations evolved into a refined philosophy, leading him to establish his own design studio in 2021 after several years of experience in residential project development.
Tristan’s work is centered around a simple yet profound belief: that the world can be made more beautiful. For him, beauty is not merely aesthetic; it is about creating spaces that enrich daily life. His designs are imbued with the conviction that a well-designed environment can have a significant impact on how we experience the world. This philosophy drives him to continuously refine his perspective and conceptual language, always searching for new ways to elevate the spaces he creates. 
At the heart of Tristan’s design philosophy is a commitment to timeless minimalism and discreet luxury. His approach marries architectural precision with thoughtful design, where every element is carefully considered. For him, design is not just about what can be seen, but about the feelings and experiences that these spaces evoke. His belief in the power of craftsmanship further amplifies this approach, as he strives to incorporate high-quality materials and artisanal techniques in every project. Tristan’s passion for creating spaces that transcend time is also evident in his furniture designs. Drawing from his creative reflections, he introduced Auguste, a limited edition collection that embodies his artistic vision. Each piece in the collection is a dialogue between his personal imagination and his design principles, resulting in work that is both visually stunning and narratively rich. The Auguste collection is a prime example of how Tristan combines minimalism with a deeper sense of storytelling, elevating everyday objects to works of art.
The design studio itself is a direct reflection of Tristan’s values and artistic vision. It is a space that embodies the essence of his work — one that celebrates the dialogue between materials, proportions, and timeless elegance. Every corner of the studio has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship that Tristan holds dear. In projects such as GA Residence, currently in its early stages, Tristan’s focus remains on crafting spaces that embody his design ethos. Though the project is still developing and visualizations are limited, it is clear that Tristan’s dedication to creating meaningful, aesthetic environments is at the forefront of his work. As he continues to refine and expand his practice, Tristan Montabord-Marc remains steadfast in his belief that beautiful design can have a lasting, positive impact on the world around us.
