- Image creation
Eleven years after its founding, Beeldcollectief is opting for a recalibration that goes beyond a visual update. The studio now positions itself even more sharply within a rapidly evolving market, where speed and volume often take precedence over substance. In this context, Beeldcollectief refocuses on what an image should do: communicate, guide and anchor itself within a broader brand strategy. Through a carefully considered rebranding, the company once again sets a clear course centred on quality and consistency.
Following the coronavirus pandemic, the creative market slowed down and the cards were reshuffled: marketing budgets dropped significantly, and the reuse of existing content was often favoured over new production. The added value of a professional set-up was minimised and replaced by fleeting content, largely created using standard devices such as smartphones. Although the rise of AI was quickly labelled as ‘the end of 3D’, Beeldcollectief observed that the opposite could be true. AI may have become an everyday tool, but it remains an additional resource.
The team became smaller, but increasingly focused on specialisation and direct collaboration. Every project is developed entirely in-house at the studio, using a combination of art direction, rendering, AI and photography. This integrated approach makes it possible to move quickly without losing control over the final image. The photographic eye remains a constant: light, composition and clarity form the foundation of every image, regardless of the technique used. From Kortrijk, the studio continues to build long-term collaborations with a clear conceptual direction.
This repositioning translates into a service offering built around five areas of expertise: 3D visuals, AI-generated imagery with product integration, motion, 3D scanning and photography. These disciplines are deliberately combined, depending on the brief and the intended outcome. For each project, careful consideration is given to which technique best conveys a product or space convincingly. Rendering remains a core activity, with digital imagery reaching a level that is hardly distinguishable from photography. At the same time, AI is used as a complementary tool, allowing room for direction and refinement.

At the heart of the studio’s practice lies the idea of a consistent visual language. Beeldcollectief does not start from isolated images, but from a visual line that remains coherent across different channels and applications. From initial mood boards to final delivery, the team actively considers positioning, style and impact. This proactive role turns the studio into a visual partner that looks beyond production alone. Whether it concerns product visuals, campaigns or complete visual identities, each project is developed with the same level of precision. This results in a working method in which technique and vision reinforce one another, and where images are created with a clear purpose in mind.

At a time when images increasingly form the bridge between a brand and its audience, visual quality becomes a strategic choice. In collaboration with Beeldcollectief, Imagicasa explores how digital imagery can contribute to a clear, layered brand experience today. By placing (self-)developed objects within a realistic setting, a visual language emerges that not only presents products, but also positions them within a broader context of design and lifestyle.
